Steel Rule

Inch Tape

L-Square
The L-Square is a ruler which have two armed and it is also called tailor’s square. This is used to check the corner and drafting a straight line.
Feeler Gauge
The feeler gauge used to check the gap between two parts. This is an engineering tool that is mostly used to measure the clearance of two parts. Feeler gauge having several blades in different sizes. The material of the feeler gauge is High Carbon Steel. It has tempered steel leaves which is different in thickness.
Dial Indicator
The dial indicator is a gauge in which a pointer moves over a graduated scale. The movement is magnified through links. A spring-loaded plunger is fitted on the bottom. The lower end of the plunger provides a small round point. It touches the job while measurement. It is generally used to check the runout or ovality of jobs.
Bevel Protector
A bevel protector is a measuring tool that is used for measuring the angles to very close tolerance. It is consist of a steel dial divided into 360 division. The dial can be rotated around the center. The line at any angle can be marked or measured by the straight edge.
Try Square
The try square is used to check the squareness of the two surfaces. This is used as marking and measuring purposes. It has two parts blade and stock. The blade is a base for the try square and the stock is used as a scale.
Calipers

Depth Gauge
The depth gauge as the name indicated it is used to measure the depth of the job. The depth gauge consists of a stainless steel head and a beam. The beam is graduated inches or millimeters.
Vernier Height Gauge
The vernier height gauge is used to measure the height of the workpiece. It consists of a vertical bar mounted on heavy base. A slider head with a pointer is carried on to the rectangular bar. The bar and head are graduated. The height gauge is also used as marking the line at specific heights.
Combination Set.

Center square
The center square is used to find the center of the round jobs. It consists of a straight edge and two arms. The method for finding the center of the round job is placed between the two arms.
